Flail Mowing / Slashing

With our articulated flail mower, Colac Trees can remove any overgrown vegetation more efficiently and with a better finish than with standard slashing equipment. Our flail mower shreds vegetation into small pieces that can act as mulch, rather than leaving long vegetation remnants that take longer to decompose or are harder to clean up.

We provide this service throughout the year.

Fire Preparation

When fire season approaches you may be required to slash any overgrown vegetation and grass near your home and property boundaries.

Our articulated flail mower is able to reach any hard-to-reach areas with it's extensive reach and articulated motion. This will provide you with a clean finish and ensure that any fire hazards are removed as much as possible.

We recommend doing this in late spring / early summer when most vegetation and grass has completed most of it's growth for the year and before it dries out and becomes a fire hazard for your property or neighbours.

Blackberry & Woody Weed Removal

Blackberries and other woody weeds can be very difficult to remove with a standard mower, slasher or general weedkiller. Our articulated flail mower is able to cut through woody and difficult weeds efficiently and keep them under control. We can also go into any hard to reach areas to ensure as many weeds are cut down as possible.
